Dr. Bamidele Ogunlowo (BA, FCCA, FCA, FCTI, FFA, FCIPA, ACFIPN, FCIFI)

A highly experienced Chartered Accountant & Forensic Professional who has demonstrated the ability to lead a team of professionals to new levels of success in a very competitive and demanding field. Strong technical and business qualifications with an impressive track record of more than twenty years of hands-on experience in accounting and financial control. Proven ability to successfully critically analyze an organization’s financial status, and business requirements, identify deficiencies and potential opportunities and develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for enhancing competitiveness, increasing revenues, and improving customer service offerings.

He obtained a degree in Business Accounting from the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside, UK (now University of Lincoln) and an M.sc in Accounting & Finance from University of Chichester, UK. He also holds a Doctorate. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Forensic Investigators, USA  (CIFI), a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Forensic & Investigative Professionals of  Nigeria (CIFIPN), a registered Reporting Accountant with The Securities & Exchange Commission, Nigeria, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Administrators, Ghana (CIPA), a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, U.K (ACCA), a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants, U.K (IFA).

He worked as a Senior Management staff in David Collins Consulting, UK for four years. He also worked as Financial Controller at the Commission for Local Administration in England, a department under the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister in the United Kingdom. He returned to Nigeria and joined Emmanuel Adeyemo Ogunlowo & Co, as a Senior Manager, a role which he held for five years; after which he moved into the Nigerian financial sector by joining Vetiva Group made up of Vetiva Capital Management Ltd, Vetiva Securities Ltd and Vetiva Trustees Ltd, one of the top five investment bankers in Nigeria as Group Head, Finance & Accounts for almost two years.

After his spell in the financial sector, he returned to Emmanuel Adeyemo Ogunlowo & Co as a full partner. He became the Managing Partner in 2010. In November 2021, he also became the Chief Executive Office of EAO Services LLC, Texas, USA, a professional services firm, and an affiliate of Emmanuel Adeyemo Ogunlowo & Co. A position he held in dual capacity until December 2023.  He sits on investment advisory boards of a few companies and performs advisory roles as required.
